Coaching is a supportive and challenging exchange. The aim at the heart of coaching is the identification of issues which need to be addressed, considering future options, deciding on a course of action and making this happen. Coaching offers deeply reflective, action-focused learning, tailored to individuals.
I work with clinicians and senior managers in the Health and Social Care sector enabling them to increase their effectiveness and design local workable solutions in the context of complex constantly changing organisations.
The coaching exchange involves insightful questioning and reflection and offers a powerful way to develop self-awareness and awareness of others. Coaching also increases the sense of agency (how to make a difference) both in work and in life. Through attention to the wider system it is possible to generate a broader impact and deliver service improvements.
